Taal Art Event

Last March , we participated in an art event in Taal Batangas, among LAPIS group , its only me , Griego Vive, Jeorge Banawa and Alva Alvarez were present in the said event.
Upon invitation of AAP Group , Kunts Gallery and Mr. George Banawa , we dont have any idea so we just brought our art materials and followed the flow .From our arrival , weve met a guy from the tourism office then followed by the presentation of the school band , a sign of the start of the event, then we saw the other group of artists came with their buddies. Most of then are from AAP . Afterwards , we enter in the principal's room and they introduced the "Suman" a sticky rice in the banana leaves. Then we have met Mr. Fidel, the AAP President and we proceeded to the children's room where they were waiting for us. Sir Fidel gave a pastel workshop to the kids and we just assisted them .I've met also sir Bill Perez who is connected with NCCA.
After we finshed the workshop we visited some historical places of Taal and they also served a great and delicious lunch.Then we proceed to our on the spot sketching and we all chose our own subjects til we went back to the school to see and judge the artworks of the kids. After we fished there, we went to the Mayor's house and they served Merienda to us. The lady mayor was really nice to us she have a huge house, we really enjoed the Puto at Dinuguan and the rest, then we got some small talks then we had to go back to our way home. It was a great experience again meeting other artists . they are really great and it seems that we knew each other for long time.
I guess soon Kuya george will have another event in Taal this coming month. Lets wait for that Artists.
